Filo jacket, Sheinside jumper, Wrangler jeans, Lipstick boots
I’ve been dying to show you this jumper since it landed on my doorstep a week ago. It’s just so warm and versatile. I haven’t documented it on my blog yet, but I’ve been wearing it over dresses and skirts to satisfy my layering obsession. It was freezing this afternoon, so it was perfect, especially with my Filo jacket thrown over the top. I found it in the middle of a market a year ago, and I still jump at the chance to haul it out again. I seem to be going through a little phase of digging out old pieces from the back of my cupboard. I’m quite enjoying it to be honest!
Casper and Pearl shorts, Sheinside sweater, Shakuhachi shoes
Last week was quite an exciting week clothes wise, I received this adorable jumper in the mail from Sheinside and the Casper and Pearl shorts for my birthday. I’ve been absolutely smitten with Casper and Pearl for a little while now, so their addition to my wardrobe is quite an exciting one.
Vintage overalls (c/o Box Vintage), Dotti boots, Country Road t-shirt
I think this is one of my most immature outfit posts yet. I don’t know why, but these overalls somehow compelled me to wear my hair in piggy tails. I got these overalls for my birthday after I found them in the amazing West End shop, Box Vintage a week or so ago. I think these overalls make it offical - I have an obsession with bib and brace.
I had a high tea today for my 18th birthday, I have so many gorgeous photos to show you over the next couple of days. But because of that, I better go before I slip into a sugar induced coma.
Rachel Rachel Dress (c/o Princess Polly), Shakuhachi shoes, Rubi Shoes socks, ASOS sunglasses
I’ve got a bit of a blogging bug at the moment, I’ve got so many ideas. The problem is finding the time, a photographer and the light. That’s why yesterday afternoon I ran out onto the street to take these, even though the light was just about fading. I quite like the result nevertheless!
This dress is exactly one year old on Thursday! I got it for my birthday last year and I still love it so much. I feel a bit like a pirate when I’m wearing it. The boots must be nearly a year old too, I snaffled them up at the Shakuhachi pop up store and I’m still flogging them every chance I get. The glasses, I think, are the best find of all though. I got them in the goodie bag at an event held by Portable where the founders of Lookbook were speaking last year.
The rest of this week is going to very busy, but hopefully I sneak in another outfit post soon!
Blurr dress, Cotton On Body t-shirt, OASAP sunglasses, Dotti boots
Finally another outfit post, I’m so slack at blogging this year. I really am sorry, it’s just so hard to find a time when both my brother and I are free, and I’m not quite yet desperate enough to return to self-timer or my old remote. I’ve been trying to do more outfits posts of clothes that I actually wear on a regular basis, rather than outfits inspired by sponsored items.
I usually wear this outfit to uni every couple of weeks, give or take a necklace and maybe swap the t-shirt for another colour. I’m really into layering at the moment and wearing cropped tops and jumpers over dress and skirts. It’s quite weird though because I have avoided layers and anything cropped like the plague for the last few years. Nevertheless, I’m embracing it.
Muui dress, ShuBar sneakers, OASAP bracelet
I am completely and utterly in love with this dress, it’s as old as the hills yet it’s still growing strong due to my renewed love for it again. It’s just such a handy dress to slip on on a warm summers day.
I’m also smitten with my new nail polish, I got it out of the Marie Claire goodie bag at James St Up Late the other night. It’s Alex Perry and it’s amazing. I love the colour and the fact that it’s more like paste rather than runny like other brands, meaning that for klutzes like me, it’s hard to mess up.
OASAP dress, Rubi Shoes socks, Corelli wedges
I am absolutely in love with the print on this dress (see it here in a flatlay), I love how different it is to anything in the shops here in Australia. The fact that it’s velvet also gives it a soft little spot in my heart; I do have a real obsession with velvet.
It’s been a long time since I inflicted these shoes on you, I completely forgot I had them once the weather warmed up so of course when I remembered, I hauled them out for this afternoon’s outfit photos. I’m not sure that I would wear them with this dress again though, on reflection, I’m not sure if they really worked. I think in the future I’ll stick to my ever faithful Dotti boots or Litas.
I reached 37 000 followers tonight, so thank you thank you thank you!
Mink Pink dress and jumper, Rubi Shoes socks and shoes, Typo satchel
I am absolutely in love with my new owl jumper, I bought it this afternoon and pretty much as soon as I got home, slipped it over the top of today’s outfit. Seeing as though I was channeling my inner preppy school girl through this outfit, I ended up pairing it with my uni satchel.
ShuBar sneakers, Sportsgirl overalls, Country Road t-shirt
I know it’s belated, but here is a semi-Easter related outfit post! This afternoon when I got home from spending the afternoon with Holly, my brother and I decided to go out onto the street and snap some photos to break the dry spell of outfit posts.
Before you ask, no I do not have a cat. The cat in the photos lives across the road yet decided that he wanted to feature in every single photo. He’s a very cute cat, so I didn’t really mind.
