DIY: Newspaper Nails
A couple of weeks ago, in a bid to recreate the newspaper nails below, I developed my own tutorial. My photos aren’t very clear or good, so I hope that my instructions will be suffice.

You will need:
- 10 newspaper strips
- A bowl of water
- Clear nail polish
- Grey, white or a pastel coloured nail polish
Paint your nails in a clear undercoat to protect your nails.
Wait for your nails to dry.
Paint your nails in your white/grey/pastel nail polish. Ensure that your nails are completely dry before moving onto the next step.
Dip a strip of newspaper into a bowl of water, and press it onto your finger. Hold it there for about twenty seconds before peeling it off. Be careful not to press too hard, or the paper may stick to your nail. If this happens, dip a cotton bud in some nail polish remover, and gently dab your finger until the paper residue comes away from the nail.
Leave your nails for a couple of seconds after removing the paper to let your nails settle, before applying a top coat of clear nail polish to help the ink stay on your nails.
