It has been a really, really, really long time since I last checked in, and I’m sorry. I don’t really have an excuse as to where I have been - it is really just down to a lack of inspiration, I guess. Honestly, I go through waves of wanting to close off this chapter of my life, despite not wanting to actually close it off, and waves of guilt for not being active and a desire to create content and engage. Ask me any day of the week and I will have a different attitude to PDITL. Sometimes I still absolutely adore it, and other times, I feel like I need to stay away.
I have been blogging for over 8 years, and realistically, I am a completely different person than I was when I started off in this world when I was 15. And don’t get me wrong, this blog has given me experiences that I could not even have dreamt of, and I am so incredibly grateful for that. But, the blogging world has changed ten-times over in that time, and so have I, and Pretty Dresses in the Laundry does not make up a major part of my identity anymore.
But, with that all being said, in a massive contradiction, here I am once again with some posey shots of my outfits from my life since I last visited. I’m still *fairly* active on Instagram, so follow me over there, I promise it is less sporadic.
I’ll be back with something new, sometime, I promise.
